Psychodynamic Psychotherapy Program Application 

$50 non-refundable application fee is required with the application. Applicants should send in the application, two letters of reference from individuals familiar with their work, a brief biographical sketch including a statement describing the applicant’s interest in further training, and, if applicable, a copy of the applicant’s current license and certificate of professional liability insurance. If the application is satisfactory, an interview with one or more members will be scheduled. The applicant will subsequently be notified of the decision.

Application Requirements

Classes are primarily designed for licensed and license-eligible Masters and Doctoral-level mental health professionals including psychologists, social workers, psychiatrists, psychiatry residents, counselors, and couples and family therapists who are interested in deepening their understanding of the therapeutic process. Applicants currently working towards a postgraduate degree or in a medical residency will also be accepted. Individuals with non-clinical degrees may be considered for admission as academic fellows in the Foundation Year.


Tuition and Funding

Tuition is $2,100 per year, with $1,050 due by September 1st and $1,050 due by January 1st.  Payment plans are available. If a student is interested in arranging a payment plan, he or she should contact the office once the tuition invoice is received. A tuition scholarship is available to social work applicants (Patricia Claffie Fund) and local psychiatric residents (Resident Education Fund). Tuition is non-refundable.
