Adult Psychotherapy Program: Admissions

Application

A $50 non-refundable application fee is required with the application. Applicants should send in the application form along with two letters of reference from individuals familiar with their work, a brief biographical sketch including a statement describing the applicant’s interest in further training, and if applicable, a copy of the applicant’s current license and certificate of professional liability insurance. If the application is satisfactory, an interview with one or more members will be scheduled. The applicant will subsequently be notified of the decision.

Applicant Requirements

For both the Foundational and Intensive Courses, the classes are primarily designed for licensed and license -eligible Masters and Doctoral-level mental health professionals including psychologists, social workers, psychiatrists, psychiatry residents, counselors, and couples and family therapists who are interested in deepening their understanding of the therapeutic process.  Applicants currently working towards a postgraduate degree or in a medical residency will also be accepted. Individuals with non-clinical degrees may be considered for admission as academic fellows in the one-year Foundational Course.

Scholarship and Financial Aid Opportunities

Tuition is $2,030 per year, with $1,015 due by September 1st and $1,015 due by January 1st.  Payment plans are available and students should contact the office.  A tuition scholarship is available to social work applicants (Patricia Claffie Fund) and local psychiatric residents (Resident Education Fund).  Tuition is non-refundable.
